Overview
Maspik Matrix is a multi-layer spam detection engine built into MASPIK.
Instead of relying on a single check, the system combines multiple detection methods in parallel to make a more accurate decision for every form submission.
This approach improves spam detection in complex or borderline cases, while reducing false positives.
Maspik Matrix is a cloud-based processing system. Form submissions are analyzed securely in real time, without being permanently stored.
Explanation
For every form submission, Maspik Matrix evaluates several signals, including:
- IP reputation and past activity
- Common spam patterns and structures
- Message structure and behavior (length, repetition, anomalies)
- Link presence and suspicious domains
- Language compatibility between the site and the message
- AI-based content evaluation
All these signals are combined into a single decision that determines whether the submission is allowed or blocked.
There is no need to understand the internal logic or scoring. The system is designed to work automatically.
Enabling Maspik Matrix
To enable Maspik Matrix:
- Go to the main MASPIK settings page
- Enable the Maspik Matrix toggle at the top of the page
- Click Save
Once enabled, all new form submissions will be processed by Maspik Matrix.
Options And Logs
In the Maspik Matrix Options And Logs section you can:
- Define an optional Business Context
- View AI and Matrix decision logs
- Clear logs at any time
Business Context / Short Prompt (Optional)
The Business Context / Short Prompt field is optional and limited to 170 characters.
It allows site owners to give the system additional guidance about what should be considered relevant or unwanted. This is useful for handling specific or recurring spam cases that are not always detected automatically.
Use short and clear instructions. One sentence is usually enough.
Examples:
- “Block commercial offers, even if polite”
- “English and Hebrew only”
- “No SEO or marketing service inquiries”
- “Messages must include a real question about our service”
If you do not have specific requirements, this field can be left empty.
Logs Review. Recommended
After enabling Maspik Matrix, it is recommended to review the spam logs, especially during the first days.
This helps identify possible false positives.
Recommended workflow:
- If a user reports a missing submission, check the logs
- If a legitimate message was blocked, refine the Business Context
- If everything looks correct, no further action is needed
Privacy And Data Protection
Maspik Matrix operates as a cloud-based spam detection service.
- Form data is analyzed only for spam detection purposes
- No personal data is permanently stored by the system
- Data is processed in real time and discarded after evaluation
This design supports privacy-focused setups and is GDPR-ready when used according to MASPIK guidelines.
Usage Tips
- Enable Maspik Matrix and let it run before making adjustments
- Use Business Context only when you need to fine-tune specific spam behavior
- After any change, save the settings and monitor the logs from time to time
