InputGate is a cloud-based spam and abuse detection network associated with MASPIK and designed with privacy, security, and data minimization principles in mind.
When enabled, MASPIK securely connects to the InputGate network to analyze form submissions and request activity in real time for spam, abuse, and automated attack detection.
MASPIK acts as the client-side integration layer, while InputGate provides the external cloud-based analysis and threat detection infrastructure.
How InputGate Works
When cloud protection is enabled, selected request and form submission data is securely transmitted to the InputGate network for automated spam and abuse analysis.
The system evaluates submissions in real time using multiple detection layers, including:
- IP reputation analysis
- Request pattern analysis
- Automation and abuse signals
- AI-assisted spam scoring
- Threat intelligence and behavioral indicators
Once analyzed, InputGate returns a protection result to the website in real time.
All communication is encrypted and transmitted securely over HTTPS.
Data Processing
InputGate processes submitted data exclusively for spam detection, abuse prevention, and security-related purposes.
Legitimate (non-spam) submissions are processed transiently in memory and are not permanently stored by the service.
InputGate does not use submitted content for:
- advertising
- profiling
- marketing
- analytics unrelated to security protection
Spam & Abuse Retention
When activity is confidently identified as spam, abuse, or malicious automation, limited technical indicators may be temporarily retained to improve network-wide protection and threat detection.
This may include:
- IP addresses associated with confirmed spam activity
- spam reputation indicators
- request fingerprints
- abuse detection signals
- technical security metadata
Legitimate messages and customer communications are not permanently stored by InputGate.
Security-related technical indicators may be temporarily retained for up to 90 days for abuse prevention and reputation protection purposes.
Infrastructure & Hosting
InputGate operates on Cloudflare’s global edge infrastructure using Cloudflare Workers and related edge services.
Data may be processed through Cloudflare’s distributed global network in order to provide fast, secure, and real-time protection.

Data Minimization
InputGate is designed to minimize processed and retained data wherever reasonably possible.
Only the minimum information required for spam detection, abuse prevention, and security analysis is processed.
