Comparison
Maspik vs Cloudflare Turnstile: complementary, not rivals
Turnstile is a free bot check from Cloudflare. Maspik is a spam filter that reads what is submitted. They answer different questions, so this comparison is less about choosing one and more about knowing what each leaves uncovered.
Which one fits you?
Choose Maspik if
- Spam still reaches your inbox even though Turnstile is enabled.
- You want rules on the content itself: keywords, emails, phones, links, countries, languages.
- You want to avoid adding any widget to the form.
Choose Turnstile if
- You want a free, dedicated bot check and already use Cloudflare.
- Your problem is high-volume automated traffic rather than message content.
- You want a widget that Cloudflare states is WCAG 2.2 AAA compliant.

Our view on bot checks for lead forms
Turnstile is lighter than most puzzles, but it is still a widget between a visitor and your form. We recommend trying the form without one first: use Maspik’s invisible layers, watch the spam log for a week, and add a bot check only if automated traffic turns out to be a problem they cannot handle.
Why spam can still arrive with Turnstile on
Turnstile tells you a real browser completed the check. It does not tell you the message is wanted. We documented a case where an Elementor form with Turnstile enabled still received spam, and what fixed it, in How to Stop Elementor Form Spam Even With Cloudflare Turnstile Enabled. Adding Maspik’s content and reputation checks behind the bot check is the usual remedy.
