Spam protection for WPForms

Stop WPForms spam with Maspik Pro

WPForms includes its own anti-spam options, and Maspik adds the layers they do not cover: rules on what people write, country and language filtering and a shared IP blocklist. WPForms support is part of Maspik Pro.

Requires a Maspik Pro licence for this integration.

Where Maspik fits next to WPForms’ own protection

WPForms lets you add its honeypot and a CAPTCHA or bot check. Those deal with automation. They do not read the message, so spam typed by a person, or submitted through a browser that passed the check, still arrives. Maspik evaluates the content and the sender on top.

What you get on WPForms

  • Per-field rules for text, email, phone and textarea fields.
  • Country and language restrictions, to stop submissions from regions or languages you do not serve.
  • IP verification and reputation checks.
  • The spam log and the multi-site dashboard, so one set of rules can cover all your client sites.

Free or Pro?

WPForms and Gravity Forms support requires a Maspik Pro licence. Licences start at $19/year for one site. See pricing, or start with the free plugin on your other forms.

Set it up in a few minutes

  1. Install Maspik from Plugins > Add New and activate it.
  2. Buy a Pro licence, paste the key into Maspik’s License Activation page and click Activate. Pro is built into the same plugin; there is nothing else to install.
  3. Open Maspik’s settings and set your field rules, then watch the spam log for a few days.
