Do my visitors have to solve a CAPTCHA?
Never. Maspik uses honeypots, a verification key, content rules and reputation checks that run invisibly in the background. Real visitors submit your form and nothing happens to them — no puzzles, no image grids, no delay.
Will it slow my site down?
No. Most detection runs locally inside WordPress with no external request at all, and only the layers you actually enable are executed. There is no front-end JavaScript, which is why Maspik is comfortable on high-traffic sites.
What if spam still gets through?
Spam evolves, so we back Maspik with a spam-block guarantee: share a sample with us and we’ll help you configure the plugin until those submissions are blocked. The submission log shows exactly which layers ran, which makes this quick to diagnose.
How do I activate Maspik Pro?
In your Maspik plugin menu you’ll find an Activate Licence page. Enter the key you received after purchasing Maspik Pro — you can always find it again under My Account.
Does my licence renew automatically?
Yes — your plan renews once a year at the same price you paid, so your protection never lapses unexpectedly. You can turn renewal off at any time from My Account, and you’ll keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
What happens when my Pro licence expires?
Your site is never left unprotected. Maspik keeps running with the full free feature set — every local protection layer, your rules, blocklists and submission log stay exactly as they are. Only the Pro layers stop until you renew.
Can I upgrade my plan to include more sites?
Any time, from your My Account page — and you only pay the difference between your current plan and the new one. If you’d like a hand, just contact support.
Does a staging or development site use up a licence slot?
No. Staging, local and development copies of a site you already licensed don’t count against your total — only live production sites do.
What is the Central Dashboard?
A single control centre that lets you manage Maspik rules and settings for all of your websites from one place, instead of configuring each one separately. See the documentation.
What is your refund policy?
Every plan comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If Maspik isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we’ll refund you in full — no questions asked. Read the full refund policy.
Is Maspik GDPR compliant?
Yes. Most detection happens locally on your own server, and Maspik does not track visitors or store personal user details.
